AceFast AceFit Pro Review: Great Fit and Design, But Too Pricey and Flawed
AceFast AceFit Pro offers fun features but lacks great sound and value, making them less recommended compared to cheaper alternatives.

I have tested many open-ear headphones and was hoping to find a good, affordable pair. When I heard AceFast made new open-fit earbuds, I was excited. But sadly, the AceFast AceFit Pro was a letdown.
AceFast is still a small brand, but I liked their AceFast T9 last year. It had a cool design, low price, and was easy to use. I hoped the AceFit Pro would be the same. But it only gets one thing right.
The good part is the fit. These earbuds stay in place and feel comfortable. Since they sit just outside the ear canal, you can hear your surroundings while listening to music. AceFast did a great job here.
But the price and design are disappointing. The AceFit Pro is not cheap. In fact, it costs more than better earbuds from brands like Honor and Huawei.
At first, I liked the colorful design, clear case, and LED lights you can change. The battery display is also helpful. But after two weeks, problems started. The right earbud sometimes didn’t charge or turn on properly. This is not a good sign for long-term use.
Another odd thing is the charging port. It’s placed under the case, so you have to flip it over to charge it, which is annoying.
The features are basic too. It has an equalizer, but the sound quality is not very good.
If the AceFit Pro was very cheap, maybe the flaws would be okay. But at this price, it’s hard to recommend. The fit is good, but everything else falls short.

AceFast AceFit Pro Price and Availability Review
AceFast AceFit Pro was first launched on Kickstarter, with the campaign running from mid-January to late February 2025. For a short time, you could also find them on Amazon.
At launch, the AceFit Pro was priced at $159.99 (around £120 or AU$250). However, this price might change once they are officially available. AceFast has confirmed that the AceFit Pro should go on sale around mid-May 2025, mainly through Amazon.
Right now, they are not yet available for purchase in the US, UK, or Australia. But based on previous releases, we can expect them to appear on Amazon in the UK and US at about the same time.
At $159.99, the AceFit Pro falls into the mid-range price category for open-ear earbuds. However, it is slightly more expensive than many competitors.
If you are looking for a cheaper option, AceFast also offers the AceFit Air, priced at $79.99 / £79.99 (around AU$160). These are a more affordable choice for anyone wanting open-ear earbuds without spending too much.
AceFast AceFit Pro Design Review
The AceFast AceFit Pro earbuds have a fun, see-through charging case available in colors like white, pink, purple, and green. It has a cool, retro look.
The case has a digital battery display that shows how much charge is left in the case and each earbud. This feature is really helpful to know when to charge them.
However, the case sometimes has trouble charging the earbuds. You may need to take them out and put them back in for them to charge properly.
The charging port is on the bottom of the case, so you have to flip it over to charge it, which isn’t very convenient.
The case is light (74g) and feels strong, even though it looks like plastic. It’s round, so it can roll off surfaces if they aren’t flat.
The earbuds are comfortable and light (7.8g each). They fit well and stay in place during light exercise. They’re also sweat and dust-resistant with an IP54 rating.
The touch controls on the earbuds aren’t always reliable, and the glowing AceFast logo on each earbud may be too bright for some people, but you can turn it off in the app.
AceFast AceFit Pro Features Review
The AceFast AceFit Pro earbuds last 6 hours on a full charge, and the case gives you up to 25 hours of use. However, that’s at a low 60% volume. In my tests, I got about 5 hours at a higher volume, which isn’t great. Even the AirPods Pro 2 last longer.
The AceFast app connects to the earbuds but doesn’t offer many features. There’s no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), no “find-my-buds” option, and no listening tests. But you do get an equalizer, a few presets, and the ability to change gesture controls. Most people will use the app just to customize the LED lights on the case and earbuds.
The earbuds connect to your phone via Bluetooth 5.4, and I didn’t have any connection issues.
AceFast AceFit Pro Sound Performance Review
The AceFast AceFit Pro has 20x8mm drivers, but the sound quality doesn’t live up to the hype. While they’re decent for budget earbuds, they can’t compete with higher-end models.
These earbuds have a V-shaped sound, meaning you get a lot of bass and treble, but the mids are almost missing. For example, when listening to “Omaha” by Counting Crows, you can hear the vocals and bass well, but the accordion and guitar are hard to hear.
The sound lacks detail, and it gets worse outside because the open-ear design lets in noise. While it’s not as bad as some other earbuds, you’ll still hear outside sounds.
There’s some peaking in the sound, mostly in the midrange, but it’s not very noticeable because the mids are already weak.
The AceFit Pro is fine for casual listeners or workouts, but audiophiles won’t like the sound quality.
AceFast AceFit Pro Value for Money Review
The AceFast AceFit Pro has some good features, but at $160, they fall short.
With issues like short battery life, average sound, and potential durability concerns, they don’t stand out at this price. There are better options available for the same cost.
If you can find them for under $100, they could be worth considering, but the AceFit Air offers a more affordable choice.
