Jabra Evolve2 75 Price and Availability

Jabra Evolve2 75 is available in two versions: just the headphones or with a desktop charging base.

You can choose between USB-A or USB-C versions, but the charging base only comes in USB-A. You can also select between Microsoft Teams or UC compatibility and the headphones are available in black or beige.

Both the MS Teams and UC models cost Β£374 ($374.39) on their own. With the charging base, the price goes up to Β£418 ($396.49) directly from Jabra in the UK or through online retailers.

This makes Evolve2 75 slightly more expensive than the original Jabra Evolve 75, which is still available for purchase.

Jabra Evolve2 75 Design

Jabra changed a lot in Evolve2 75 compared to original Evolve 75. The new design looks smoother and more elegant, with a shorter microphone and a nice charging base.

When you first hold Evolve2 75, it feels lightweight and comfortable. The version we reviewed works with Microsoft Teams and has USB-A, plus it includes a Bluetooth adapter and a soft carry case.

There are no audio jacks; it connects only through Bluetooth or USB. With Bluetooth 5.2, you can pair it with up to eight devices and connect to two at the same time, making it easy to switch devices.

The buttons are easy to use. On the right side, you have the audio controls, a Teams button for calls, and a mute button for the microphone. The left side has the charging pins, a power button for Bluetooth pairing, a USB-C charging port, and a noise-canceling button.

The design is simple, so it’s easy to learn how to use. It sits nicely on the charger, reducing the chances of forgetting to charge it.

It takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge, giving you up to 36 hours of battery life. If you’re in a hurry, just 15 minutes of charging gives you about 6 hours of use, and you can charge it while using it.

Jabra Evolve2 75 Use

Using the Jabra Evolve2 75 is easy. Just take them out of the pouch, plug in the USB Bluetooth dongle, and they’re ready to go.

For more advanced features, like connecting to multiple devices, a little setup is needed, but basic use is straightforward.

The advanced noise cancellation (ANC) works well. You can turn it on or off, and it silences background noise like fans. You can still hear someone talking if they approach you.

One downside is that using ANC shortens battery life from 24 hours to 18 hours, but most people won’t find this a problem.

You can charge them with a USB cable, but the charging base is better. It’s small and stylish, making it easier to keep the headphones charged.

For Windows and Mac users, there’s a tool called Jabra Direct to manage updates. The headphones work well with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other apps.

For iPhone and Android users, the Jabra Sound+ app provides similar features.

Jabra Evolve2 75 Sound Performance

Usually, business headphones focus on clear speech rather than great music quality. But Jabra Evolve2 75 surprisingly performs well for music too.

While audiophiles might notice some limitations due to noise-canceling features, the sound quality is better than many other business headphones, especially in higher frequencies. There’s a decent amount of bass, but not overwhelming.

With Jabra Direct software, you can adjust the sound settings for bass, mid-range, and treble.

Overall, these headphones sound better than expected, making them suitable for more than just conference calls.

A notable upgrade is the microphone design which features eight sensors. These pick up sound from both the boom mic and ear cups, improving the clarity of your voice during calls and enhancing the effectiveness of noise cancellation by separating background noise from important sounds.

Conclusion

Main concern with Jabra Evolve2 75 is its price. Everything else about these headphones is great for people who need to communicate at work.

They are comfortable for long wear, easy to charge, and work well with Teams or UC, based on your choice. They also improve on the original Evolve 75 design which was already good.

It would be nice if they were cheaper especially for companies buying headsets for multiple employees, as price might put them out of reach.

However, Jabra designed Evolve2 75 with this price in mind and a cheaper version likely wouldn’t perform as well or last as long.
