Infinix Zero 40 5G Design
Infinix Zero 40 5G has a sleek, modern design with a unique two-tone back that reflects light differently due to its textured surface. The camera is in a central circular module with a fluted rim, and there are two separate flashes for different purposes. The front has a curved display that seamlessly flows into the sides, giving the phone a slim profile and comfortable grip. Despite having a plastic frame, overall build feels premium, and it is rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Display
Zero 40 5G has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The colors are slightly oversaturated, but the display provides sharp, vibrant images. While itโs bright enough for indoor and night use, outdoor visibility under direct sunlight can be challenging. A high-brightness mode helps counter this in strong light. Although it supports HDR, HDR content doesnโt display with full dynamic range.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Battery and Charging
Phoneโs 5000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, reaching 70% in 30 minutes and fully charging in under 50 minutes. It also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. To access fastest charging speeds, special option appears on the lock screen when plugging in charger. Additionally, Infinixโs bypass charging feature allows phone to run on direct power while gaming, reducing heat.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Speakers
Zero 40 5G has stereo speakers tuned by JBL with DTS audio processing for spatial sound and EQ options. However, the sound quality is mid-range focused which is good for vocals but less so for other types of audio. Speakers arenโt especially loud and thereโs a noticeable imbalance with bottom speaker being louder than earpiece speaker.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Software
Infinix Zero 40 5G operates on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 with updates promised for two major Android versions and three years of security updates. XOS interface is familiar with a simple layout and minimal bloatware. Aside from collaboration with GoPro app itโs free from ads and unnecessary notifications, providing a clean experience.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Performance
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, Zero 40 5G has 12GB RAM, expandable up to 24GB with virtual memory and 512GB of storage. Performance is smooth and responsive with fluid animations. In benchmarks, it holds up well especially for its class, though itโs not at flagship levels. Gaming is solid, handling demanding titles like Genshin Impact at stable frame rates.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Camera
Infinix Zero 40 5G has 108MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth sensor. It features two flashesโone for close shots and one for zoomed-in shots. Camera app is easy to use and thereโs a GoPro link option.
Main camera captures detailed photos with good color but can sometimes look too saturated. 3x digital zoom produces clear images. Ultra-wide camera also performs well, though colors can be a bit bright.
For video, phone supports 4K at 60FPS on all cameras. However, it lacks stabilization so videos may look shaky especially when moving.

Conclusion
Infinix Zero 40 5G offers a solid build, good performance, fast charging and clean software without ads. Camera is good for photos but video could be smoother. Overall, itโs a good choice for its price.
