Oppo Reno13 Pro Review: Performance Meets Style
Oppo Reno13 Pro offers a stylish design, vibrant display & long battery life, making it a reliable all-rounder for everyday use.

Oppo launched Reno13 and Reno13 Pro in China last November, followed by an international release including India and Vietnam, last month. We got our hands on Oppo Reno13 Pro and here are our first impressions.
Reno13 Pro features a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and 1,200 nits peak brightness. It’s protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and has a 50MP selfie camera housed in a center punch-hole. In-display fingerprint scanner is fast but placed near the bottom bezel, making it slightly inconvenient to use.
On the back, there’s a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (OIS), 50MP telephoto (3.5x optical, OIS) and 8MP ultrawide (116ยฐ FOV). Cameras are placed in a sleek island design with an oval-shaped flash and a mirror accent.
Reno13 Pro comes in Pink, Graphite Grey, and Plum Purple (called Mist Lavender in India). Plum Purple model has a glittery, swirl-patterned matte finish that resists fingerprints and smudges. However, combination of a flat back panel and quad-curved display makes it a bit uncomfortable to hold.
Inside, Reno13 Pro is powered by Dimensity 8350 SoC, with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15. Indian variant comes with pre-installed third-party apps but they can be uninstalled.
Oppo Reno13 Pro brings a premium design, powerful hardware and a stunning display, but some ergonomic tweaks could have improved experience.

Oppo Reno 13 Pro: Sleek and Stylish Design
Oppo Reno 13 Pro looks and feels premium. It has a slim 7.5mm profile and weighs just 195g making it comfortable to hold. Despite its slim body, Oppo has managed to pack in a large battery.
Back has a smooth matte finish that resists fingerprints. I tested the graphite grey variant, which looks elegant and subtle. Vertically aligned camera module adds to the phone’s premium look.
It has a sleek appearance thanks to the nearly bezel-less display that melds perfectly with the curved metal frame. Conveniently located on right, power and volume buttons are snappy.
Oppo Reno13 Pro: Display
The 6.83-inch AMOLED display with curved edges creates an immersive viewing experience. With a resolution of 1272 x 2800, everything looks sharp and vibrant.
The 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling smooth, and HDR10+ support enhances video quality with deeper contrast and lifelike colors. It reaches 1600 nits peak brightness, so visibility in direct sunlight is not a problem. Gorilla Glass 7i adds durability against scratches.
Additionally, you can tweak the display’s white balance, change the profiles (Vivid, Natural, and Pro), and change the color temperature.
Oppo Reno13 Pro: Sound Quality & Software
The dual speakers produce loud and clear audio, with no distortion at high volumes. Haptic feedback is also well-tuned making typing and navigation smooth.
Running on ColorOS 15 (Android 15), it has a sleek, stylish look. Interface is user-friendly including stylish icons and smooth animations.
Customization options include:
โ
Dark Mode for better viewing
โ
Always-On Display with custom designs
โ
Smart Sidebar for quick app access
โ
Minimal bloatware, with most pre-installed apps removable
โ
Three years of Android updates and four years of security patches
The phone also includes AI features like โCircle to Search,โ which lets you quickly find information by drawing a circle around objects on the screen.
Oppo Reno13 Pro: Performance
The phone performs reliably in daily use. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Whether browsing, using social media, editing photos, or gaming, everything runs smoothly.
While it performs well in benchmarks, it slightly lags behind some competitors. Here are the benchmark scores:
- Geekbench 6: 1321 (single-core) / 4071 (multi-core)
- AnTuTu V10: 1,161,074
With Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, gaming is fluid. Better vapor chamber cooling allows BGMI & Call of Duty Mobile to function properly without overheating.
During testing there were no significant problems with connectivity. It is compatible with:
โ
Dual 5G for faster data speeds
โ
Wi-Fi 6 for stable connections
โ
Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless pairing
โ
NFC for contactless payments
Oppo Reno13 Pro: Cameras
The triple-camera setup includes:
- Sony IMX890’s 50MP primary sensor produces crisp, colorful images with good low-light performance.
- 50MP telephoto lens (3.5x optical zoom) โ Produces clear shots of distant subjects.
- 8MP ultrawide lens โ Works well in good lighting but struggles in low light.
The 50MP front camera takes detailed selfies, even in low lightโcontinuing Oppoโs strong reputation for selfie cameras.
A unique Underwater Mode allows for underwater photography, thanks to its IP certification. AI-powered enhancements further improve the photography experience.
Oppo Reno13 Pro: Battery Performance
The 5,800mAh battery easily lasts a full day with moderate use. Lighter users might get close to two days on a single charge.
With the supplied charger, the phone can be charged from 0% to 100% in less than 50 minutes thanks to 80W SuperVOOC rapid charging. This translates into more usage and fewer downtime.
