Poco F7 Pro offers excellent performance at an affordable price. It features a big 6,000mAh battery that lasts longer than previously, a 6.67-inch QHD OLED display and a potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU.
With a 50MP primary and an 8MP ultrawide lens, camera setup is straightforward. For further protection, it has an improved ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68 water resistance.
For those who prefer excellent performance, battery life and display quality above cutting-edge cameras, the Poco F7 Pro—basically a rebranded Redmi K80 with minor modifications—is the perfect smartphone.

Poco F7 Pro Design and Build: A Premium Look with Practical Features
Poco F7 Pro does not have the usual yellow color. Instead, it comes in Black, Silver and Blue with a glass back. The top part is glossy, while the bottom has a frosted finish to reduce fingerprints, though it can feel a bit slippery.
It has an IP68 rating, meaning it can resist dust and survive in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. This is a big upgrade from the IP54 rating of the Poco F6 Pro.
The flat aluminum frame gives a good grip, and its satin finish prevents fingerprint marks. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display is fast, but a glass screen protector might affect its performance.
For added security, a plastic sheet is included with 6.67-inch AMOLED display, which is shielded by Gorilla Glass 7i. Although Poco has not disclosed the strength of the Gorilla Glass 7i, it should be robust enough for daily use.

Poco F7 Pro Camera: Strong Main Camera, Average Elsewhere
Poco F7 Pro has a similar camera setup to the previous model. The 50MP main camera remains unchanged, while the ultrawide camera is new but doesn’t offer major improvements. The old 2MP sensor is gone, and the 20MP selfie camera is slightly better than before.
The main 50MP camera takes sharp and well-balanced photos in daylight. Colors look natural, and the dynamic range is excellent. It also performs well in low light, capturing good details and accurate colors.
The 8MP ultrawide camera has a fixed focus. It takes decent photos, but the quality is not as sharp as the main camera. Since it lacks autofocus, capturing detailed shots is difficult.
The 20MP selfie camera delivers good colors, but the lack of autofocus means the details are just average.
One major drawback is the absence of a telephoto lens for zoom shots. Also, both the ultrawide and selfie cameras do not have autofocus, which limits their performance.

Conclusion
Poco F7 Pro is a small upgrade from the F6 Pro. It has strong performance, a good price, and a solid main camera.
But there are some downsides. The selfie camera is not great, there is no wireless charging, and it does not support eSIM. Also, in some regions, you need to buy a separate charger for the fastest charging.
Still, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip makes it very powerful for the price. With the right charger, it charges very fast. The display is one of the best, and the main camera takes great photos, even with 2x zoom. The ultrawide camera also performs well.
