It’s a slightly toned-down version of Red Magic 10 Pro+ which is exclusive to China and offers more storage and faster charging. Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro Design and build
Red Magic 10 Pro keeps its bold gaming design with minor updates. It features a blocky shape similar to the 9 and 9S Pro, with a refreshed glass back. The phone comes in four colors: Shadow, Dusk, Moonlight with the Dusk variant offering a semi-transparent back that shows internal details.
The rear camera has a sleek, minimalist design with a triple-ring appearance, but only two functional cameras (50 MP wide and ultrawide), while the third ring houses the cooling fan. It also has subtle RGB lighting, including a glowing ring around the fan.
Front keeps flat 6.85-inch display with thin bezels and almost invisible under-display selfie camera. Frame is made of durable aviation-grade aluminum offering a premium feel. Despite its size (229g and 9mm thick), it’s comfortable to hold, with buttons and vents well-placed for gaming. Red Magic 10 Pro has a 6.85-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate offering smoother visuals than its predecessor. It also has a higher resolution of 1,216 x 2,688px. Bezels are thinner, making the device more compact. Under-display selfie camera is almost invisible, providing a full-screen experience. Screen brightness goes up to 1,596 nits in auto mode.
Powered by a large 7,050 mAh battery, the Red Magic 10 Pro offers excellent battery life. It lasts up to 17 hours with regular use, and nearly 14 hours for gaming, setting a new record for gaming battery life.
Phone supports 80W fast charging (upgradable to 100W with a separate charger). It charges up to 91% in 30 minutes and takes 35 minutes for a full charge. This is faster than previous models, even with a larger battery.
Phone has stereo speakers with good loudness, scoring “Very Good” on volume tests. Sound is clear with strong bass but highs and vocals may distort at high volumes, so it’s best to lower the volume for optimal sound.

Red Magic 10 Pro has three cameras on the back: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. It also has a 16MP under-display front camera for selfies.
Main camera works well in daylight but lacks sharpness in some details and photos can be too dark or too bright in certain areas. Ultra-wide camera doesn’t perform well with soft and blurry photos. Macro camera isn’t very useful.
Under-display front camera takes good selfies in most lighting, but it struggles in bright sunlight, showing lens flare and less sharpness.
At night, main camera does okay but can be too warm and not very sharp. Ultra-wide camera struggles more, showing blurry and low-detail pictures.
Phone can record 8K video at 30fps with the main and ultra-wide cameras and 1080p video with front camera. Videos are decent but have some overexposed areas and lack sharpness.

Conclusion
Nubia has once again created a great gaming phone that also works well for non-gamers, thanks to its excellent price and performance. Phone has a sleek design, long battery life and fast charging.
However, while we didn’t face issues during gaming, cooling performance isn’t as good as previous models. This is first Red Magic phone to fail our stress tests even with the fan on. Camera quality is also a downside which stops phone from being an all-around excellent device, despite being a great gaming phone.
