Today, we’re looking at one of the smallest rugged phones, Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro. It’s a compact phone with 4.7-inch screen, FLIR thermal camera and a large battery.
Despite its small size, Armor Mini 20T Pro is 2.5 cm thick and has IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H certifications, making it resistant to dust, water, drops and shocks.
Phone features a 4.7-inch 720p display with Gorilla Glass protection and runs on a Dimensity 6300 5G chip with 8GB RAM. It has a 50MP main camera, a 32MP selfie camera and a FLIR thermal camera. It also includes a powerful 130-LED flashlight.
With a 6,200mAh battery, Armor Mini 20T Pro supports 33W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Other features include wireless FM radio, a microSD slot and an audio jack.

Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro is a tough, rugged phone made of rubber, metal and plastic, with visible screws. It’s compact but thick and while not too heavy, it’s not super light either.
It’s waterproof and dustproof (IP68/IP69K) and can survive drops from up to 2 meters. It also meets MIL-STD-810G standards for durability in extreme conditions like heat, cold and shock.
Front has strong Gorilla Glass protection, and the phone’s frame is reinforced with metal and rubber. Screen has thick bezels with a punch-hole for the 32MP front camera. There’s a notification LED above the screen.
On the back, you’ll find an industrial-style texture, Ulefone logo and main and FLIR thermal cameras. It also has camping LED flashlight with 130 LEDs that can produce up to 500 lumens, plus blue and red LEDs for emergencies.
Loudspeaker is on the back, and the phone has a headphone jack at top and USB-C port at bottom, both with rubber covers. SIM slot is on the side and there’s a customizable key next to it. Power button also has a fingerprint sensor.
Phone is 133.5 x 63.3 x 24.9 mm and weighs 301g. It’s thick but fits easily in your hand. While it’s not the most pocket-friendly, it’s easy to hold and use.

Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD screen with 720 x 1600 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Brightness isn’t great, with a maximum of 527 nits. It also has low contrast, making blacks look brighter than they should. Screen has three refresh rate settings: Dynamic (90Hz most of the time, 60Hz when idle), High (90Hz) and Standard (60Hz). There is no HDR support.
Phone has a large 6,200mAh battery. It lasts about 14 hours of active use, with over 15 hours of web browsing, 16 hours of video streaming and 7.5 hours of gaming. However, it drains about 20% of its battery overnight while on standby.
Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro supports 33W fast charging. It charges from 0% to 31% in 15 minutes, 60% in 30 minutes, and takes about 61 minutes to fully charge.
Phone has a single rear-facing speaker. It gets loud but audio quality is average. Vocals are clear but the high frequencies are weak and the bass is minimal.

Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro runs Android 14 with a simple Ulefone launcher. It looks like standard Android, but with different app icons. It comes with useful apps like an FM radio, IR remote control and a Toolbox with tools like a compass. There’s also a Camping Light app to control the LED flash.
Phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It performs well for basic tasks but isn’t ideal for gaming.
